NEW! One @ Tokyo is a brand new boutique-styled hotel with a design by architect Japanese Kengo Kuma that fuses natural and industrial materials.
We are excited to see another design-focused, independent hotel in Tokyo, where previously you bascially only had three choices in hotels: Big brand international luxury that cost hundreds of dollars a night; boring and drab Japanese business hotels; or capsule hotels.
One@Tokyo sits next the Tokyo Skytree tower and is a three-minute walk from Oshigami Station (Keisei Line / Metropolitan Asakusa Line, Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line, Tobu Line). This part of Tokyo has all the traditional 'old-town' Tokyo cultural attractions but it's also an area with plenty of new cafes and a big selection of restaurants.
The hotel offers a free-use handy phone in every room that you can take with you as you explore Tokyo as well as Chromecast-enabled TVs, something that's useful in Japan where normally there's only local channels playing on hotel tvs.
There's a 15-metre communal table in the lobby cafe and a rooftop lounge called the "Sky Forest," where you can have a drink and take in the views of the Tokyo skyline.Review updated June 5, 2017
